Hello! First post on the WP forums! ??

I’m unfamiliar with WordPress and PHP and need a little help with the coding…

I’m trying to get wordpress to mimic my website’s template.. AROUND a WP template (I’ll post pictures).

(sorry, tried to throw links into [url] tags, but I guess forum code doesn’t work here)

I’m familiar with HTML, so I understand tags/building links/such in HTML… I also have the image prepared to change the color of the film strips on the left side from white background to black.. I’m just not familiar enough with WP to modify the template and know what I’m doing.

First off, I’d imagine there would have to be a change to the CSS to incorporate my website’s elements? Then what? Do I need to modify index.php? page.php? Will WP use flash?

Sorry, I’m kinda lost in a sea of coding right now, most of which I’m not native to.. I really hate to ask for so much help with so little to give. :/ I’ll post code if anyone needs it to work with.. I just don’t know what code to post for ya and I don’t want to spam the thread with a bunch of code boxes.
