Korean broken when exporting to excel

    Hello, I am a Korean wordpress user.
    I have a problem using tablepress.
    When exporting data from admin page to excel file, Korean is broken in excel file.
    Is there a solution?

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
    Also, sorry for the late reply. As I was on holidays, I could not reply earlier.

    Just to be sure: Are you using TablePress or the old WP-Table Reloaded (because you posted in the WP-Table Reloaded forums)?

    Can you please try exporting to a CSV file? Then, try different ways to open it, e.g. by double-clicking or directly from inside Excel. There are different outcomes sometimes, for unknown reasons.
    Finally, you could open the CSV file in a text editor and save it again with a different character encoding.
