Since the last update of Koko Analytics, the following text appears under Analytics: Please wait, your Koko Analytics dashboard is booting up…

What can I do here so that the statistics can be seen again?

    Do you use an adblocker?
Is there a warning at the top of the screen that the adblocker is blocking koko?

No adblocker in use. I have also tried another browser (Edge). Without success.

What version number do you have for Koko Analytics under Plugins > Installed plugins? Does any update show?

Try to https://www.refreshyourcache.com , and if you use a server sided caching plugin in WordPress, try to purge that cache as well, does that solve the issue?

    Thanks for letting me know.

I’m also getting this error “Please wait, your Koko Analytics dashboard is booting up…” after updating the plugin, on WP 6.0.3, Koko 1.1.2

@tanohex did you already clear your browser cache?

Hello @tanohex (and others experiencing a similar issue),

As of version 1.1, Koko Analytics is using the React library that is shipped with WordPress core. Are you perhaps on a WordPress version that is older than 6.2?

EDIT: Just noticed you are on WordPress version 6.0, so that is the issue. We’ll start looking for a fix for this, but it may not be an easy fix. The best long-term solution is always to keep your WordPress up-to-date. But we might be able to push out a fix for this in the near-term. We’ll keep everyone posted here.

    Hello,

The issue with WordPress versions before 6.2 was addressed in version 1.2.0 of Koko Analytics.

We’ve confirmed compatibility with WordPress versions down to version 6.0. If you’re running an even older version of WordPress then we strongly urge you to update to a more recent version, if at all possible.

Let us know if the issue persists after updating to Koko Analytics version 1.2.0 please.

    Danny
