    Hi there,

    I am getting this old error message when I am trying to connect a basic Instagram account. Any idea what I can do to resolve this using the basic account? It was working on my delveopment website but not on my production website.

    Known Issue

    July 24th 2021
    There is a temporary bug in the Instagram API when trying to connect new Instagram accounts using the “Personal” (Basic Display) API, which is affecting all plugins and apps. We have reported the issue to Instagram and are hoping for a resolution very soon. Please see here for more information. We really apologize for any inconvenience!

    You can still display your account if you convert it into a business profile (see directions).

    Hi @itspaul,

    Thank you for contacting us! The account connection (API) wasn’t working on Instagram. Unfortunately, this affected all apps trying to connect to Instagram and was out of our control. I checked just now, and the API seems to be back to normal. Please try connecting your Instagram account again.

    If you still can’t connect your Basic/Personal feed, please submit a support request via the form on our website,?https://smashballoon.com/support/, and include the System Info.?
