• Hi there,
Are there any known incompatibilities with the plugin Adminimize? Im using both and have started to see issues where the menu items are not re-nameable. Im not sure if it is because of the Adminimize plugin causing a conflict yet, just wanted to ask to make sure…

So it looks like it is not Adminimize that is causing issues. Perhaps it is the custom role that i have, created through Toolset’s Access plugin? Are the known issues with custom roles?

I think it is the custom role, i had a role called “Super Admin” prior. I’ve now changed it (by creating a new role) to “SuperAdmin”, without the space.

Im still seeing issues though. The changes from Client Dash doesnt take for this role

I think it is safe to assume it is conflicting with Adminimize. Given that both Adminimize and Client Dash server near-identical purposes, I would not advise using both at the same time.

Might I ask if there are features in Adminimize that are not in Client Dash that you are using?

Aw nuts. I missed this and need to review every reply you’ve left in these forums…

@joelworsham I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

It is never necessary for you to offer that.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
