Knews (AJAX) confirmation message not appearing

  • Hi,
    The message: We have sent you an email to confirm your subscription appears, and the email is sent: “You have subscribed to Naked Wine, please confirm your registration by clicking here.”
    <p>You have subscribed to #blog_name#, please confirm your registration by clicking here.</p><p>You can also paste the address in the browser:
    #url_confirm#</p>
    But when I click the link to confirm I get a blank box instead of “Your subscription has been confirmed.”
    I have tried checking and unchecking the two options Knews<Configuration<Main options<Compatibility options, but still get the blank box instead of the subscription confirmation.
    Does anyone have an idea of how this can be fixed? Many thanks in advance!

    btw, I am using Knews on my multilingual site (WPML), the only media plug-in is WPML Media, with Peddlar Wootheme. Thanks!
