I see that we cannot import kml, do we have any idea of when this feature will be available. This seems like a pretty important ability to have with a map program, but then again I am somewhat of a rookie with all of this so maybe someone has a way to export out of googlemaps, or convert so I can load them into map marker pro. I like the program so far and I’m on the 30 day trial, however it is not feasible for me to purchase the plugin without this feature. Otherwise great plugin.

    Hi Tim,
support for directly displaying KML files is planned for a later release – cant give you more details on this yet though (regarding feature scope, schedule…)

    Hi Robert!

I am in the 30 day trial as well. As there is no option to import from a kmz/kml file i was wondering if there is a way to import markers form Bing and/or Google Maps?

So many options in your premium version, this one missing?

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,
support for KML import is not yet available, but planned for a future release – cant tell you details about this yet though, as other features are on the roadmap with a higher priority…

Thanks for your quick reply Robert!

For now, i try to convert my kml file to csv format in different ways, but i get these two messages whatever i try.

18:30:24 Import failed - header row not found or invalid
18:30:24 Please also check if you are using semicolons (;) as delimiters in your import file!

Do you know a working option for the conversion?

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,
that will not work. the importer is only for importing marker respectively layer maps – the import file has to look exactly like the template file available from the import page – KML cannot be imported here…

There must be a way Robert!

Yes, there will be a way with a future release – there is a KML plugin I plan to add (https://github.com/shramov/leaflet-plugins) – anyway as said before I cant promise any release date for this feature & ask for your patience here…
