Hi i have been trying to upgrade my version of klaviyo from V1 to the latest version but i cant find anywhere to update it so i decided to delete it so i could reinstall the latest verion but now i cant re- install it at all.

I have tried via add new plugin – but it says failed and i have tried downloading the file to do it manually but it still fails.

Installation failed: Could not copy file.

this is the manual error message
    Could not copy file. /hsphere/local/home/toyopia/toyopia.com.au/wp-content/plugins/klaviyo/klaviyo.php

    Hi,

Thanks so much for reaching out. Klaviyo’s older plugin versions (<= 2.0.7) were managed by multiple plugins and were not always available through the WordPress Plugin Directory. I would recommend deactivating and removing completely any and all Klaviyo plugins. If you have access, if not I’d recommend working with your hosting provider, double-check that there are no lingering files related to Klaviyo plugins in the wp-content/plugins/ directory.

You can then install the latest version of Klaviyo’s plugin via the WordPress Directory. You can find and install the current plugin (2.1.7) as you would any other from your Plugins tab.

Let us know if you encounter any issues with this process. If so, please provide specific steps to reproduce along with any other relevant details.

    Best,
    Klaviyo
