Klarna Pay later – not working for specific countries

    Hi there, we already use Klarna Pay later for Austria. Now we wanted to enable it also for Germany and added the country to list of allowed countries in the settings. But the payment method does not show up at all…
    Plugin + Woo are on the latest versions… 3.3.17 and 6.3.1

    Hi @tnitschinger,

    When the billing country is DE, the store currency must be EUR in order for Klarna to show. I just tested on our development site and it worked as expected.

    Make sure you don’t have any plugin installed like a currency switcher that might interfere with the Klarna gateway’s ability to show on the checkout page.

    Hi there – thanks for the fast response.
    We have only EUR in our store – and all other payment methods via the plugin work as expected. Also e.g. SOFORT (which is part of Klarna) works for Germany without problems.
    Neither do we have a currency switcher…
