    Hello!

    As of a couple of days ago our klarna checkout is not working.

    • Customer is in the checkout page and enters their klarna details
    • Presses “Pay order”
    • Klarna pop up appears but just keeps spinning the klarna logo and nothing happens

    Plugin version: 2.11.7
    Woocommerce version: 8.6.1
    Theme is custom made

    Status logs:
    * KCO update order : 200
    * Frontend JS xxx: validation_callback from Klarna triggered

    Do you have any tips on how I can proceed and where I should check?

    Hi,

    This issue might be caused by a compatibility issue with either the theme that you are using or any other plugin that you have activated on your site.

    To find out, please try and change the theme to Storefront which is the theme our plugins are tested for and see if that helps. If that does not help try and deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce and see if the issue is solved. If so, activate all plugins again one by one to see what plugin might be causing the issue.?

    If none of the tings above helps, go to WooCommerce Status –> Tools, Clear customer sessions and Clear template cache and see if that makes any difference.

    I suggest that you try this in a staging environment of your site to make sure not to effect your live site and customers. You can read more about staging environments here.

    Hello!

    I just wanted to get back to this thread incase someone else experiences the same issue.

    I tried deactivating all plugins first all at once and then one by one and it still didn’t fix my issue.
    I also tried removing my custom Woocommerce folder completely so I only used the original Woocommerce files (with newest version) and this did not fix my issue either.
    I also tried removing all my custom functions in functions.php aswell as any javascript files that I had, and it still didn’t fix my issue.

    But when I change to storefront then it works. So obviously there is a problem in my theme.
    However after checking my theme a couple of times I still couldn’t find the issue.

    The only thing that resolved my issue without changing out my theme was using the “Redirect” method for checkout flow. See link:

    This solved my issue if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and is not able to resolve it, please try to use the “Redirect” method instead of embedded. It might help! The checkout process will obviously be a little different than before but for me it’s better than nothing!
