Kills font-awesome icons

  • Something has killed FA icons I’ve been using on a wordpress site I’m developing, and it looks to me like it’s this plugin. Your “functions” directory includes the file “fontawesome.php” which apparently loads icon files but doesn’t include the icon “university” or its two aliases, “bank” and “institution.” It appears this plugin is loading an older version of the font (4.01 instead of 4.3, the latest version). I don’t know if this is the problem or not, but it’s frustrating the heck out of me trying to run this problem down.

    It is you. Olevmedia Shortcodes is loading an earlier version of font-awesome than my Evolve theme and killing several elements I could formerly access. I respectfully suggest that you have your plugin check to see what fonts are already loaded before overriding them with an earlier, less robust version.
