Kill margin, fix floating content over menus

In deleting the search box of twenty eleven I think I messed something else up… I’m not a programmer! If you select “home” from the menu, you will see it falls BEHIND page content… not sure how I did that or how to fix it.

Also, I figured out how to get rid of the white space above the header image, but is there a way to move the page all the way up, without margin, to the browser window edge?
