Keyword Link Plugin Hack Needed

Hello,
We’ve been having trouble with one particular WP Keyword Link glitch.
The plugin is disabled whenever an image is posted within a paragraph. (Text is wrapped around image.) Please take a look at this post:

The keywords “Ian McKellen” should have been automatically linked to either the “Ian McKellen” tag/link or to a specified link. Neither works.
Elsewhere in the post, the Keyword Link auto-links work just fine.
So far, we’ve had to resort to posting “align right” images within their own <p></p> tags so as to get Keyword Link to work. Example:

Is there a coding solution for this? If so, any assistance would be much appreciated.
