Keyphrases are not saving since 4.2.0 update?

    I published a post this morning and when I published the Focus Keyphrase saved along with the post.

    Then I saw the new feature in AIOSEO that shows the SEO scores of existing post, pages and portfolios. I saw a few I wanted to add keyphrases to and attempted to add them but they won’t save when I click update. The Focus Keyphrase goes back to being blank?

    Is this a bug?

    I want to be sure that my keyphrases stick and don’t disappear when I publish.

    I should mention that this is only happening for posts. I can add and save Focus Keyphrases for pages and for my portfolio posts.

    i am having the same problem.
    As a result of my attempts, I realized that the reason was the classic editor. Going to gutenberg and adding focus keywords it doesn’t get deleted. score goes up. But when switching to the classic editor again, the focus key is deleted. Maybe this info will help with the update.

    Here it is three weeks later and this is still a problem.

    Hi, I also experience the same problem on both pages and posts.

    have latest version of everything.
    Does not save in the right toolbar and also not at the bottom of the page.

    I have WP 6.1.1 and my focus key phrases will not save. This happened in previous versions as well. Posts as well as Pages. Closing and reopening the page and poof gone. Meta Description is still there. Has anyone had a resolution to this?
