Keyboard Navigation Stops Working

Comic Easel works fine up until I go into the config navigation settings and attempt to disable the default navigation and replace it with comic easel’s navigation widget. For some reason it disables the left/right keyboard navigation for going to last and next comics regardless of whether the setting is disabled or not, and not even resetting comic easel entirely fixes the issue. I can’t find what I need to fix in the code and the only way I can get it back to normal is to start the site from scratch. If it helps, these attempts were made after importing several pages at once, not sure if that’s part of the issue.
