key validation failed: Newsletter registration non-registered users not work

    Suddenly the newsletter registration for non-registered users no longer works. Registered users receive an e-mail. Non-registered users are redirected to a “Mailpoet page” with the code content “[mailpoet_page]”.
    We use the free account. The license key is checked and active.
    The error log displays the following message (Key Type Premium and Key validation failed?):
    mss.ERROR: key-validation.failed {“http_code”:403, “home_url”: “https://www.nomo-design.de”, “key_type”: “premium”}

    This error also occurred once (too many failed attempts?):
    cron.INFO: Daemon run ended too early! {“duration”:0,”remainingLimit”:5.196817874908447}

    We are totally stumped and don’t know what to do at this point.

    The error log displays the following message (Key Type Premium and Key validation failed?):
    mss.ERROR: key-validation.failed {“http_code”:403, “home_url”: “https://www.nomo-design.de”, “key_type”: “premium”}

    Regarding the error you shared with us, this is expected, as you’re using a free plan and this is the check for the Premium key. It’s done for all keys and, in your case, it’s expected that it fails for the Premium features.

    That said I am interested in the other issue that you mentioned:

    I am not sure I am 100% understanding, could you please explain what is happening with more details? How it started? Are you using the latest MailPoet version?
