Kept showing wrong currency

  • Wanted Euro as base currency and an option of GBP. It just kept giving me ￡ (GBP).

    The finance-google button said there was no information for GBP (Great British Pound. Sterling currency used in the UK).

    I put in a static conversion rate. I set the ‘home’ currency as euro.

    I even set up the GeoIP locations (euro were euro countries. gbp was United Kingdom).

    It still kept giving me GBP.

    My laptop time zone and keyboard are Irish – ie. Europe (even if it was pulling information from that).

    So I don’t think this plugin works. (Using WooCommerce version 3.1.2)
