    aha, how to solve?

    @changeagent WP Maintenance Mode has no control over cache plugins. You should try to disable the cache plugin you’re using and see what happens.

    Hi @georgejipa, thanks. Decided this AM to swop to Coming Soon Page, which I use on other sites since years, without these type problems.

    I’m sure that the caching plugin is causing the issue. So it’s hard to believe that other plugin will work differently because all these coming soon/maintenance plugins work in the same way, but it’s your choice. ??

    Could be I do not know how they work. I know that the other one has no problems with the caching plugin. I have a unused Domain that it runs on for years and no problems. here to is a caching plugin installed.

    anyway thanks for your help and advise. much appreciated.
