Keeps Initializing…

    Hello,

    I am unable to find the reason why Print My Blog doesn’t work on my web. After clicking Prepare print-page it keeps Initializing.

    I checked with https://marteen.cz/?rest_route=/ that WP REST API is enabled.

    Hi @rs78, I just tried your site and its actually working OK for me… It’s shows “Initializing…” for a second or two, but then gets going. There’s some popup but once you dismiss that it appears ok I think…

    What browser are you using? I was using Firefox.

    Hi Michael,

    I updated my Firefox to the newest one (72.0.2 64-bit) and tried again.

    Now Plugin generates content, but the page displays not correctly. If I use dotEPUB extension from this source it will include only one post from the content into EPUB file. There is also missing the Title of this post.

    Hi again @rs78, ah I see my ePub integration somehow got broken ??!

    Semicolon! (If you’ve ever done any programming before, this is a common trope: a misplaced semicolon can often break an entire program.)

    I don’t think I should make a release last thing at night. But if you like you can try out the version of this with the fix:

    1. Download version 2.1.5 from here: https://github.com/mnelson4/printmyblog/archive/BUG/epub-broke.zip
    2. Go to your WordPress dashboard, click plugins, then “add new”, then “upload” and select the zip file you just downloaded
    3. Deactivate Print My Blog 2.1.4 (the version you’re currently using)
    4. Activate Print My Blog 2.1.5 (this new version)

    Try making the epub again.

    If it works, let me know, but you should then deactivate 2.1.5 and switch back to 2.1.4 (otherwise the plugin can automatically deactivate when being updated).

    Actually I ended up releasing 2.1.5 today as it was such a minor change for a rather important fix. So you can just update Print My Blog normally, and the new version includes the fix.
    Thanks for reporting the issue @rs78 !

    I’ll include a warning to use a newer browser (or just make the Javascript work with older browsers) to avoid the “Initializing…” problem you originally encountered. (That will be a bit more work though.)
