• Hi, I have just installed wordpress on a clients site to use as cms for some pages and to make use of the feedback system, the problem i am having is that my sites home page is index.php and while this is live none of my blog pages will show, when i go to their url, i have a single.php and a page.php but when i try to view these it just shows my home page content with the post url https://www.tuinauk.com/?p=3

i thought if you have single.php or category.php it deafaults to that, do i need some code in my index.php or is there are way to make wordpress ignore it?

when i remove or rename index my post shows fine

    any help appreciated, thanks
