Updraft was mistakenly configured to backup to our server a year or two ago. Even though it was supposed to make just one backup it made dozens and caused our server to stop working.

I changed it to backup to our Dropbox account. It seems to be working fine and only making one backup, but it’s still backing up to our server.

I can’t find any setting to change that configuration.

    Any help?

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus settings page.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

Thanks for your response. Here’s a link to the latest log file for a backup that was made on our server.

    Hi,

It appears that UpdraftPlus is having trouble generating the Uploads backup file.
Please could you try reducing the backup archive split size? To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the Settings tab, and find the ‘Split archives every’ option. Please set this to 100MB, save your settings, and attempt a fresh backup.
