While I absolutely love the lightweight concept, the plugin seems to have one major flaw: It does not keep the language setting if I move from one page to another. Do I miss anything? This is a big deal for online shops. Nobody wants to choose the language 4 times during checkout.

The “Google Language Translator” plugin by gtranslate creates many requests (12!!) but at least it keeps the chosen language which is a big advantage.

Would be great if you could combine the best of both worlds.

    Greetings,

it should be keeping the language setting, because as you may or may not know, all these “Google Translator” plugins use the same core, which is a translation widget made by Google.

Please send a link where the issue can be seen.

Your are absolutely right. My mistake! We don’t use a sidebar on checkout pages. So, the scripts weren’t loaded on these pages. I modified the template file, and everything is just working fine now.
    Sorry for the bother!
