I have a test site with no real database content other than a few test settings I’ve used for custom posts and tinkering around with plugin settings. After a lot of playing around with some custom taxonomies, things started to act funky (not loading conditional code). I’d like to just reset the database completely since I have all the info and settings I need and the content/taxonomies/settings are just dummy test data.

I’d prefer to NOT do a fresh install to avoid re-uploading plugins, themes, etc. Just want to wipe out all content/taxonomies/settings. Is there a simple way to do this? Is it as easy as creating a new MySQL database and changing wp-config settings?

    Thanks!

Exactly, create a new database, adjust wp-config.php, and follow the installation prompts. ??

When you’re satisfied, it should be safe to delete the old database too. ??
