    Hello,

    I’m using the Blossom Travel theme. I would like to delete the banner section on all pages BUT keeping it on the home page. I’ve tried different codes found on forums but it doesn’t seem to work.

    Could you please let me know what code is necessary?

    Thank you

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

    Can you please turn off the maintenance mode on your site so that we can inspect and provide you the necessary CSS code?

    Kind regards.

    @blossomthemessupport Could you please check it out? I’d like to go back to the maintenance mode asap as people have my web address… I really appreciate your help.

    Hi @beyourselfbycharlie,

    Thank you for turning off the maintenance mode.

    We checked your site and found that the banner section is only showing on the homepage, not on other pages. Can you please send us the screenshot where the banner is showing other than the homepage?

    Thank you.
    I don’t seem to be able to send a screenshot here.

    Each page, “meet Charlie”; “Let’s connect”… has a banner at the top where I can add a picture (ex: on the “let’s connect!” page, it’s a golden picture). And right under it there is the information on how to find that same page (ex: Home > let’s connect!).

    If I don’t add a picture to that banner, the space stays grey as in the pages under “services” where I did not add any picture.

    This space is useless for me (apart from on the homepage). And I would like to get rid of it as well as of the information on how to find that page.

    I hope this is clear.
    Thanks again.

    Hi @beyourselfbycharlie,

    Thank you for providing more details.

    To hide the breadcrumb, please navigate to Appearance > Customize > General Settings > SEO Settings > Disable Breadcrumb.

    Regarding the header image (not banner), if you don’t set the feature image, it will show a grey background. In order to hide, you need to switch to the second header layout via Appearance > Customize > Layout Settings > Header Layouts.

    Once you select the second header layout, you can add the following code to hide the header via Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

    .page .site-content > .page-header {
        display: none;
    }

    Please try this solution and let us know if you still face any issues.

    That’s awesome thank you – sorry for the mix-up banner/header image.

    However, it changed the header layout of the homepage too. Is there a way to only change the header layout for the other pages?

    Thank you!

    Ah and of course that changed my menu too…

    Hi @beyourselfbycharlie,

    We are sorry to inform you that it cannot be done. The header layout cannot be different on the homepage and on other pages.

    We noticed that you have configured the Featured Area incorrectly. You can refer to this guide to make the featured boxes in the same row.

    Yes, that’s because I don’t want the about section before the featured section.

    Thanks for your help though.

    Have a great one.
