• The client wants a user to stayed logged until they actually choose to log out.

A little background. The site is a commercial real estate site, and they want to limit only registered users to see properties which is not a problem. However, the kicker is that they want the user to stay logged in even when the user leaves the site, closes their browser, etc. They do not want o have the user have to log in again.

    Is this possible?

  • That is how WordPress works anyway, and s2Member does nothing to change that.

That’s why you need a plugin to kick someone out of a site after a specified period of inactivity.

However, you must ensure that you set s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Simultaneous Login Restrictions to 0 in case an already-logged-in user then logs in from a different location; otherwise they’ll be at risk not just of being logged out, but of being locked out for a period of time.
