Keep needing to re-install Maxmind GeoLiteCity database

    I’ve been using your plugin for about a year now – great work ! ??

    The database update message used to appear about once per month (which I guess is normal) but now it seems to appear daily (which I guess is not normal).

    Visitor Maps plugin needs the Maxmind GeoLiteCity database installed. Install Now

    Once I’ve updated, all seems to work OK until the message appears the next day again.

    Looking on the Support tab here, and also googling does not reveal this to be a common problem. Any ideas what might be the issue ?

  • I have had the same problem and want to know how to disable the “Visitor Maps plugin needs the Maxmind GeoLiteCity database installed. Install Now” message?

    Any updates on the frequent requests to reinstall the database? It’s been a nuisance for quite a while.
