Keep item out of stock in Payment pending status

As I understand you want the items to be removed from the stock while an order is “on hold”, correct?

I just tested on my site, and having Hold stock (minutes) off, when I made a purchase via Direct Bank Transfer, the product was removed from the stock while the order was set as “on hold” due to payment pending.

As I understand, this is not what is happening on your end, correct?

Can you please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and check if Hold Stock is set to a determined amount of time? If it is, please disable it and check if the issue persists.

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

No. Not on hold. I repeat: I need items kept out of stock if the status is “Payment pending”
