Keep images loading from Stager

Hello,
I use Theatre for WP with Stager. And I have a problem with the images. They keep on loading the same images into the media library. For every event there are over 200 images. Because of that my website gets slower by the minute and space runs out. I only need the one featured image per event that was uploaded in Stager. Is there a way to solve this?
