• It doesn’t look like you can use the file upload feature at this time because the directory you have specified (/homepages/27/d120518085/htdocs/wp-content) doesn’t appear to be writable by WordPress. Check the permissions on the directory and for typos.

  • The directory ‘wp-content’ needs to have permissions of 755 or 766 or 777

    Your cpanel or ftp client should be able to change this for you.

    i use 1and1.com they have got to have the most messed up ftp stuff on the web. ??

    I had the same problem as above, I have had to change my permissions to 755.
    The images upload they are in the directory, and the alt description appears but no image.
    Help please appreciatted

    I have half solved the problem )) see above when I upload this is what I get

    <img src=’;/wp-content/frank.jpg’ alt=” />

    If I add the path by hand all is OK

    Help!!
