keep getting the almost ready message in site kit when trying to connect adsense

@eranlitvak I’ve checked your site and I don’t see the ad code placed at present. Can you check that you have the Auto ads toggle switch on? You’ll find the settings under “Settings > Connected Services > AdSense & Edit”.

Let me know the status after you check that setting from within your AdSense settings.

1) Have you received any email correspondence from Adsense about your account status?

2) Did you have an Adsense account before Site Kit? or did you just set up Adsense along with Site Kit?

I’ve done this simultaneously. signed up for adsense and received an activation mail only. it seems as if adsense is waiting for me to connect by puting in a code manually (too complex for me :-)) or connect through site kit which is what I am trying, and getting stuck in a loop.
I’ve also sent this in google forums because I don’t know if it’s an adsense issue or not…

If you attempt to reset Site Kit and reconnect Adsense do you still get the same result?

still same result. I tried to press continue in adsense even though it doesn’t recognize my site and now I have a message that they’re checking my site and it might take a few days – hope this might resolve. will update once this message changes…

@eranlitvak thanks so much for your reply. The Adsense review process requires that the code is inserted on your site, so we believe the issue is still underlying.

We’re working on this currently and it would be great to see if we can help identify the problem. Site Kit has placed special information about the status in the Site Health information. Could you provide that to us here or through this form if you prefer? Many thanks!

@eranlitvak Just following up with you on this issue. We’ve updated how the plugin works with AdSense. When checking your Site Health information you should be able to determine your current AdSense status.
