• Hi

I can’t find a link to help with the free kadence theme, so thought I would post here, please move if you need to.

I believe I have set up the mobile menu correctly in the settings, but the actual menu list isn’t showing up when you click on the trigger menu.

    Can you anyone help please?

    Thanks in advance

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I have the same problem. it was working, now it’s not. Your results look exactly like mine. I *think* the problem started when I was shuffling header elements around, if that helps.

Did you delete any plugins/themes to help, I have tried to many things and nothing is working

And I can’t find anywhere in the customise sections where you can do anything with the menu in the trigger option

Yes. I turned off the plugs. I even deactivated the Kadence theme, deleted it, and resinstalled it. I’ve deleted the menu and recreated another one with a different name. I’ve tried it in different locations using Appearance>Header. Bug remains. So frustrating, since it was working at the start.

You fixed yours! Excited! What did you do?

I changed the theme, I was spending far too long messing about on it so decided to go in another direction

Drat. I’m using Elementor header blocks to create the top menu but I like Kadence so much more. If they leave this open and I find a fix, I’ll post it here.

    Great, thank you

    I switched to Astra instead

I don’t know if we missed it or they added it but I found the solution.

Just to the left of the header or footer rows (where you drag in the different elements to display), there is a square. Drag the element(s) you want the trigger to call into that square. Like a navigation, for instance. Then add the trigger somewhere in the header or footer rows. Now it works! Yay.

    Sorry I can’t attach a picture but ask if I wasn’t clear. ??

I know, I just noticed it as well, I am sure it wasn’t there before..here is guide I received from Kadence on this

    https://docs.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/docs/customizing-the-mobile-navigation-area/

Thanks, @kittsonvs, that started me in the right direction but did not solve the issue for me. Here is what I did to get the hamburger to show on mobile.

Under Header > Primary Navigation: Choose the mobile icon at the bottom right of the left column.

Move the trigger to the top or bottom row.
    and or
Reduce the “Logo Max Width” for mobile.

    Hope this helps.
