Kadence Row mobile tweaks

  • Hi: On the trial server page (https://shobstg.wpengine.com) where I am trying out a new site design, I have used Kadence row to create 4 columns, with the first and last being empty, so that using column 2 & 3 for my image and text will help exactly position where I want them to be. This works beautifully in the laptop version of my site.

    In the mobile version of my site, I have chosen to stack the columns, so they are okay. But …

    1. There is to much white space on the top between header and image (possibly Kadence column one is there) and I need the CSS tweak to reduce this space so the image and the text following it both move up

    2. Below the text is presumably Kadence column 4, but it covers the background design of the wavy lines. I need more space here so the text part stays above the wavy lines. I think it may be that I have to give column 3 or 4 more height/padding or something? What is the CSS tweak for this?

    Please help urgently. I am not at all a techie and quite seriously challenged.

    Hi,
    Thanks for reaching out! Rather than creating a four column layout, I would actually recommend creating a two column layout. Then under Structure Settings in the Row Layout Block settings you can set the “Custom Content Max Width”. Does this work for you?
