• I’ll soon be converting to Kadence an existing site with 300+ Posts, most organized into 5 Post Categories (Travel, Planning, Photos, etc.). So, each Post is currently assigned the appropriate Post layout template.

I understand that Kadence does not offer Post/Page layout templates in the usual sense, but is there any other way to achieve this?

Rather than tediously customizing each and every Post to suit the required layouts, is there a way to create 5 pre-designed Post layout ‘templates,’ then assign, say, 50 Posts to the Travel layout, 60 Posts to the Planning layout, etc.?

    Appreciate any advice!

    Hi Jeffrey,

You can create custom template for single posts using Kadence element template (hooked element). Choose the “Replace Single Post Content” Placement, then select a taxonomy that categorizes your posts in the Display Settings. Here’s a sample setting: https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uLq8A4

Note that the template only applies to the frontend and it won’t reflect on the single post editor.

If you want to apply it to post editor as well, you can create WordPress reusable blocks and use it as the template.

I hope this helps, and let us know how we can assist further.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

    Fantastic!

Those appear to be precisely what I’m looking for. Will dig into them now.

    Thank you so much!
