JW Player for WordPress Plugin to alter Search bar

  • Currently you can only find videos by scrolling through the carousel on the playlist. However, if there are 99 videos in a carousel, it can be difficult for viewers to locate specific videos. Is there anyway we can include a search bar feature that syncs with the JW Player Plugin. The current search bar plug ins I have tested ONLY search within WordPress Pages, post and comments. They do not search within the JW Player Videos. Is there any way we can alter the search bar to include searching for videos posted on JW Player Dashboard? Thanks!

    Where is the video data stored that appears on the player dashboard? Depending on the answer, searching is possible if the data is accessible by WP code. Do you really want to include post and page results along with video results? Merging the results could prove to be difficult, depending on the nature of the video data. You may be better off with a dedicated video search feature.
