Just What Was Needed

I’m not one for writing reviews. But Search In Place deserves one. The nature of part of my site is the need for the users to easily find related items and articles. SiP does this smoothly.

SiP provides relevant search results based on your settings (I prioritise exact match over partial) and even on the free version, there are ways to customise and adapt it.

When I’ve needed help, they’ve answered my questions here pretty quickly, which is appreciated.

The only thing I would say is, if you store your users’ searches with a different plugin (I do) then you’ll find a bunch of partially-typed results. This is not SiP’s fault, but how WP search is – and if your user has found what they want before they finish typing, then they’re not going to continue typing!
