• I didn’t test many similar plugins, I just tested 3. Only this one was able to protect my Ajax pop-up login/register widget.

So basically what do a person do? Well I visited my website and I decided to login trough my front-end pop-up login widget.
After few (purposely) wrong login attempts, I didn’t noticed anything.
I was still able to try try try different passwords and usernames.
After I tried to login with correct username and password, the system did not wanted to log me in. The message was that I have entered wrong credentials.
When I visited back-end login, the message was displayed that my IP is blocked and that I should try again later.

The solution is not smooth as I wanted it to be, but IT IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS (for now, or maybe I will find some more plugins that work).
Also, I liked ‘sidekick’ features and functionalities,

Hi lukaborna! Thanks for your review!

I know that there are a lot of ajax pop-up login widget out there. Each has different way to display messages and other related things. If such widget or pop-up stuff doesn’t display anything it doesn’t mean that Cerber is not working. Cerber will protect website and will control every attempt to log in, no matter what way is used to log in.

Yes, that is what I said. I was not aware of being blocked until I visited backend login.
That is even better, because I do not want intruders to be informed of anything in any way, and default backend login link is going to be changed. That way the protection is fulfilled.

You said that Cerber is based on Limit login attempts, which is atm still the most popular plugin for this type of protection, however it is starting to be outdated, and the only quality solution is Cerber next to LLA.
Other features that cerber has are cool, because I do not need to add this tweaks manually to functions.php or w/e.
I am sure that cerber is going to get really popular in no time.
