Just upgraded, no sidebar? Figured it out!

I just upgraded to the new version, had the sidebar for one page. Went to add a new post and then the sidebar disappears completely. Someone want to tell me what the heck is going on? I have no way to get to any sections of my admin except by direct urls. This is not what I upgraded for. Then I remembered that I had the plugin that makes drop down boxes of all the sections of the admin areas. That was the problem. So if you have any plugins that effect the admin area then you may want to delete them before going crazy.
