Just Upgraded & Now Issue with Uploaded Photos

  • Hello,

    I just upgraded to the new 2.6 edition of WordPress. I followed the directions from the Docs on how to correctly install this new platform.

    The upgrade is complete and all my content is here like before, but the only issue is with all the photos I uploaded to insert into each o of my posts. All of my photos on my site appear with large red X marks. I’m wondering what the issue is here since I did just upgrade.

    I also wanted to add that I just realized that usually when I upload photos into my posts, I usually just upload them from my folder of pictures from my desktop, but I actually do not save them to my public root folder. I’m wondering if after I insert a photo into a post, if I also have to add the photo into one of my root folders or anything???

    I’m wondering if this could be the possible issue when I completed my upgrade??

    If you could please help me on this that would be great, I fear my site being down for too long!

    I have talked to four people now still experiencing the same problem after upgrading to 2.6.
