Just updated and big issues with woo

  • Hi

    this is and has been a great plugin, however I have now updated to latest version only to be told it is not compatible with woocommerce and i need to buy a license

    this kinda feels like a sting in the tail to me, when it has been compatible with woocommerce now it isnt and i have to pay money !!

    really this is not the way to drum up business

    please explain why i get this message

    Hi scruffy1,

    Apologies for the confusion this new notice has caused.

    No functionality has been removed from WP Offload S3 and WooCommerce will continue to work just fine. The only thing you gain from using our WooCommerce addon is that files are automatically given private permissions on S3, but this was never a feature included in the free version of WP Offload S3 anyway.

    We realise that the wording of this new notice comes across quite strong, and doesn’t explain the situation very well. We’ll be releasing an update shortly to address the situation.

    Again apologies, our intention was never to pressure people into purchasing a license.
