Just transferred from aioseo and need some help

    I am today trying out Yoast from AIOSEO and am hoping you can resolve 2 problems for me and make me believe Yoast is better.

    1. I have many ‘false’ urls generated that have been indexed by Google, such as:

    and a major feature that I like is under Permalink Settings “Redirect ugly URL’s to clean permalinks. (Not recommended in many cases!)”
    When I switch this on it redirects all of the ‘false’ urls such as Redirect ugly URL’s to clean permalinks. HURRAY!
    BUT – when I switch this on my sitemap stops working:

    Obviously the sitemap is very important so I need this to be working as well.

    2. Under Permalinks: “The Redirect attachment URL’s to parent post URL.” Does not work and I have to switch on and continue to use “Attachment Pages Redirect” Plugin which works very well – I don’t have a problem with this as the end result is being achieved but just wondering why I have to use another plugin when Yoast says it should be achieving the same result.
