Just The Plugin I Was Looking For

This plugin is just what I needed. It is also not bloated like WP Mail SMTP, (3.4 MB) as opposed to this one, (1.6 MB). It has a log I can view and the setup is simple. I don’t use the SMTP service providers like Mailjet or SMTP.com that this plugin integrates with. I use my own SMTP server from my own hosting. So, I used the “Other SMTP” feature in this plugin, which this plugin connected to it seamlessly.
The support is excellent! There was a conflict between this plugin and another and working with Yaycommerce and the other plugin support team YayCommerce dev team was able to work out the issue.
If I had to gripe about something it would be their documentation. Before I pulled the trigger on purchasing the pro version of this plugin, I wanted to be sure that this would work with just a regular STMP on my hosting server and not any STMP service provider like SMTP.com. I spent around an hour chatting with support to get this answer because their documentation made no mention of the “Other SMTP” setup. It has a section titled, “How to Connect Other SMTP”. but this section was just for email services like Yahoo and Gmail.
Bottom line, this turned out to be just the plugin I was looking for.
