    Hi, great plug-in!
I installed a brand new empty WordPress 5.2.2 installation, just for test purposes, using the standard theme Twenty Nineteen.
Showing pictures and PDF works perfect. The issue is how to show text with a minimum of style from the theme. I’m getting a lot of empty space and I just want to show text with some html formatting.
I looked at the tutorial for creating a WordPress page without header, menu, sidebar and footer: https://www.wonderplugin.com/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-create-a-wordpress-page-without-header-menu-sidebar-and-footer/
I can make a page that only shows the text, but I can’t choose in Foyer which template to use, I always get the fully loaded standard page from theme Twenty Nineteen.
I looked at the plugin WP Page Templates, but that doesn’t help.
So what to do to get a simple text page without all the formatting and empty spaces from the standard theme?

  • I’ve tested something and it worked, so perhaps you can use it. If I understand you correctly, you want to display a text page without any formatting.
Create a new picture with an app of your choice (I used libreoffice draw) which shows nothing but a blank white sheet. The format should correspond with your screen settings, in my case I have a resolution 1920×1080, which is 16:9. Go into Foyer, upload your new picture and choose it as background for your text page. You should get a white background with only your text on it.
    Hope that helps.

Hi @pckrullenbol and @mh137, if you create a Foyer ‘Text’ slide with ‘Default / None’ background it should show you black text on a white background. Some WordPress themes use non-white backgrounds though, in these cases you could use the trick suggested by @mh137, or add some CSS that makes the background white if you know how to write CSS. If you need less space between the title / subtitle / content of the Text slide you could also style this to your liking by using CSS.

    Hope this helps!
