Just text for caption, not the excerpt

Hi,
I’m using your plugin on a theme with a custom excerpt function that adds dots and button to the excerpt. So, when I use your carousel on my theme, also carousel caption gets dots and button. So I’d like to remove those dots and button.

Can I get just plain text instead of excerpt in my carousel?
