    Hey

Setup seemed to work fine, however, there are no products on my FB Page. I waited an hour or so. Will it take longer?

    – Page is found
    – Pixel is found
    – Sync is setup
    – In productoverview, some are set to hide and some to show. I did not set those….

Where on FB page will products show?
    On the wall
    In the shop section

    Hey @hebhansen!

Thanks for reaching out to us. ?? I’m happy to help out here!

Our team here at SkyVerge just recently took over development and support for this plugin. Our team is hard at work to make sure the plugin works more reliably and more easily going forward!

That said, synchronization can take some time, perhaps as long as 24 hours. I see it’s been more than a day since you posted your message here. Can you please let me know if things seem to have properly synchronized? You should be able to see the products on your FB Catalog page.

Regarding the hidden and shown products, virtual products will be hidden as Facebook doesn’t support these presently.

Would you please keep me posted here? Additionally, if you could please let me know which version of the plugin you’re using, that would be helpful.

    Thanks so much!

    Julie ??

Nothing is synced to Facebook. I recently upgraded to Woo 4.

Can it be the add block?

    I am using version 1.10.2

Urgent – I seriously need assistance here

    Hey @hebhansen!

Our plugin should sync products to a Facebook catalog. That catalog can be connected to your Facebook shop. Virtual products will be hidden since Facebook doesn’t currently support virtual products.

Could you please send a screenshot of the catalogs?

You can find your catalogs here: https://www.facebook.com/products/

If you prefer to share this privately, please open a support request here and reference this thread:

We’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot this further!

Tried to connect catalog to my page, using Google and intuition. I can’t figure it out.

    HELP Please

    Hey @hebhansen!

It could be that the wrong catalog is synced to your Facebook shop page, or something happened in setting up the WooCommerce catalog that prevented it from linking to the shop page correctly.

From your catalog manager, click on the catalog name that ends in “- WooCommerce”. This should take you to a details page for that catalog.

On the left sidebar, click on “Settings” and scroll on that page all the way to the bottom.

You should see a section called “Selling on Facebook”: https://cloud.skyver.ge/eDuxqGmK

If this section is missing from the WooCommerce catalog, then it may be connected to the other catalog instead that shows 0 products. You could follow the same steps to check if the “Selling in Facebook” section links your shop to this other catalog instead.

If you’d rather have us troubleshoot this privately, please open up a support request:

Either way, would you please keep me posted on your findings?

    Thanks!

    Yes that’s right

    Wrong calalog connected to page
Wrong catalog connected to Facebook for woo

    Now what?

    I found this:

    Go to Catalog Manager.
Select the catalog that you want to create a Page shop from.
On the Use Cases page, select Facebook Page Shop followed by Connect Page.
Select the business Page that you want to create a shop for. Select Next.
Note: If you don’t have a Page yet or your Page doesn’t appear because it’s not connected to your Business Manager account, select Add a Page. In the pop-up window, select Add Page, Request Access or Create Page and follow the steps.

Select whether you want people to buy products on your website or message your Page on Messenger to buy them. Select Next.
Select the default currency for your Page and select Create Shop.

Now on the Use Cases page i Can’t sellect “Facebook Page Shop”
    I can
    -Create Dynamic Ads
    – Create Ads to Drive Traffic
    – Instagram Shopping

Kristy, serious, I started this issue 2 weeks ago. Provide me a manual that works or a solution.

Do I create a shop on fb, that creates another empty catalog and point your plugin to that catalog instead and do a resync.

Pateience is running out to be honest

    Hi @hebhansen!

Sorry that the products are still not showing in your shop page. Thanks so much for running through the tests that Kristy mentioned!

From what you’ve mentioned so far, along with the screenshots sent over, it looks like there may have been some manual setup of the shop page performed which has created an empty product catalog. The setup wizard that our plugin uses from Facebook is expecting to set this up from scratch for you so that no manual steps are necessary. If they have already been started, there can be a case where there is a mismatch of setups, and unfortunately, we can’t control this from the plugin side of things.

What I would suggest to do in this instance, is to delete both product catalogs from your catalog manager. This should also remove the link to the shop page so that it allows the setup wizard to be completed from a clean slate.

To do this, please login to your catalog manager, and select a product catalog for the store. Then please go to “Settings” and click the Delete button. If you then repeat this process for the second catalog, the shop page should no longer be linked, and there’s just one final step to take to be able to run the wizard again!

    1. In your WordPress admin head to?WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce.
    2. Click “Manage connection”.
    3. Head to “Advanced Options” on the popup window.
    4. Click the “Remove” button and confirm.
    5. You will be taken to a fresh Welcome screen to choose a Facebook page.
    6. Set up the connection?once again, choosing the existing shop page and pixel.
    7. When completed, ensure you leave the?WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce?page open while products are synced again.

This should then have let Facebook linked the correct catalog to your shop page, deleted the additional catalog that is not required, and re-synced the products to the catalog so that they can be displayed on the shop page.

If after following these steps, and waiting for Facebook to process your products, you’re still not seeing some products on your shop page. I’d be happy to look into this further for you with some specific examples. As Kristy mentioned, Virtual products are not supported, and so they will be hidden from your shop page as standard. Any other products can be hidden/shown from within WooCommerce admin, so we can check that setting afterward too.

Would you please let me know if the issues persist once you’ve had a chance to follow the above steps?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Thx Simon

    It seems to work now.

It appears that only 4×6 products show in the shop event though theres more in catalog. Can I change that?

Can I decide the order products show. Fx newest at the top?

When I watch a product, I can check out on website. It jumps to checkout rather than the product page. Can I change that?

If I activate Stripe gateway. Will customers be allowed to shop more products. Checking out after one item is a bit… not typical.

    Thx again

    Hi @hebhansen!

That’s great news, I’m glad we were able to get that connected for you!

As far as I’m aware, Facebook has a limit of 300 products that will show on the shop page at any time. I’m not aware of a way to adjust this, as well as being able to control the order, though I’m not super familiar with what options the Facebook shop page has as this is controlled outside of our plugin. The Facebook support team may be able to help you with this further though!

If you’d like to take the customer to the product screen though, I do know that the Facebook shop page has a setting to control this. If you open the shop page as your Facebook admin, click Settings and then Shop, this should show an option for “Use Checkout URLs“. Deactivating this option will then take customers to the product page instead of adding the item to the cart automatically.

I’m also not aware of any way to batch multiple items into one basket, and then checkout via your store. This functionality isn’t something that our plugin can control I’m afraid, as the behavior would be controlled directly on the Facebook store, so it may be worth checking in with the Facebook team again!

Thanks again for your patience while we worked through this. Is there anything else I can help out with today?

    Cheers,

    Simon.

One last question. Products on FB are they included on FB market place?

If not, is there a cool way to do this for Woo

    Plugin
    Settings in business manager

    Thx again Simon
    Great help
    Precise and clear

    Hi @hebhansen,

It’s a good question! I did some digging and wasn’t able to find anything concrete, though I did come across this old issue on Github that mentions products being posted to the marketplace (although in this case the merchant didn’t want that to happen!).

The plugin will only sync products to the Facebook product catalog, the display in the shop page, Instagram, or the marketplace would therefore be controlled (if at all) through the Facebook front end. From the Github issue, it sounds like they were speaking with the separate teams involved however, so I’d be happy to raise this request to our product team to see if they can clarify this further with Facebook directly.

In the meantime, it may be worth looking into the location visibility settings from the Facebook frontend, though I can’t see any other feature that would control marketplace publishing I’m afraid.

Is there anything else I can help out with?

    Cheers!

    Simon.
