WordPress 4.3.1 running Divi theme. When I just use [print-me] in the page, the print button shows up on the page, but nothing at all happens when I click on it. I tried changing “article” to “page” in the settings. I tried adding [print-me target=”main-content”] to the page. And I’ve tried a few other combinations. Seems that I am missing the point some how. Can someone guide me? I’m testing it on our budget page – just wanting to print that very short page. When it is up and working, I want to be able to add it to almost ALL of our MANY pages.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give.

if you want to print an element with a class it would look like target=”.your_class_name”
if you want to print an element with an ID it would look like target=”#your_ID_name”

If you want more detailed instructions, tell us what you want to print and provide a link to your page.

Yeah, you got some wonkyness going on with your page. A) the core jQuery library that comes with WordPress is not loading. B) the core print-pro-matic script is not loading on your page. What happens if you turn off whatever is causing the asyncScripts feature, is that a plugin or a theme feature?

You need to do basic WordPress troubleshooting to determine where the issue is coming from. You can google step-by-step instructions, but basically you will have to swtich back to a default twenty-something WordPress theme to see if it’s a theme issue. If not, then you will have to turn off all plugins and one-by-one turn them on until you identified a plugin that is causing the issue.

Get back to us once you have located where the issue is coming from and we’ll try and assist further, even though the issue is not with our plugin.
