Just One Post’s Share Counts Are Blank

  • Having a single blog post that share counts don’t seem to be updating on.

    Here is a link to the blog post. I’ve noticed sometimes it take a day or so to show but it’s been over a week. New blog posts are showing updated shared counts.

    Here is a screenshot of SharedCount and you can see it’s reporting over 2K shares.

    This issue seems to be cropping up on other posts. Still haven’t heard anything back. Any ideas on what might be causing the issue?

    I’d first start by logging in to your SharedCount account area and looking at your API usage.

    Awhile back they lowered the quotas on the free plan. If the quota is exceeded it might be preventing counts from being shown for that specific request.

    Okay, I just check and it looks like the lower limits might be causing the issue. I’ll have my client upgrade and see if that resolves the issue. Thank you!
