Just not working

  • love the plugin idea – seems that simple shortcodes are working – great!

    But I cannot get images to show in any consistent way – and when I hit the “Insert Link” button, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

    sometimes hitting “Insert Link” there’s a clear bounce back to the page, other times there’s no screen reaction what so ever.

    very odd – and it is really inconsistent in how it is working.

    i suspect I’ve got something set up wrong in the settings, but even if I did, this inconsistency wouldn’t be happening, right?

    Hi,

    Are you saying that on the post edit page, when you hit “Insert Link” it does not add the shortcode to the post content edit box?

    Or are you saying that some shortcodes do not display on the ‘live’ page?

    Looking at your page I can see that there are several amazon products, using the carousel, iframe image, buy now button, and the banner templates.

    These templates will work without needing to register and then enter your AWS settings into the plugin (great), however they are often blocked by Ad-Block software (not so great).

    All the other templates get their data from Amazon. For these to work you need you to register with the Amazon Web Service so that the plugin can retrieve the items product details.

    Not sure if you want/need to do this, depends on which sort of template you want to use.

    I’m getting a blank white page when previewing. My keys are validated. I turned the debug on and there are no messages. Checked the source and it is cut off in the meta info with the head. All white space after that. I’m going to disable my other plugins – already tried a different template.
