• Trying to password-protect with multiple passwords the above web page. Followed the steps. Set visibility to password protected. Added the password Kryptauri202! . Hit update. Box to add additional passwords appeared. Added several passwords each on separate line. These include: bradrainey and christinetully

None of these work in Chrome, Safari or Brave.

Kryptauri202!seems to work when editing the page as the admin. But none work when just viewing. Very odd.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @janostgaspar ,

when I first visited the page I saw the password form, submitted it and got a white screen.
Now when I visit the page again I always immediately see the content.
It seems you deactivated the password protection?

    Hallo Andreas,

Unfortunately I have not disabled the password protection. It is still on and the passwords provided above are still active. I don’t know what it is that’s causing this to stick like that. It seems like even though you had the white screen initially, it could have actually processed your password entry successfully but didn’t actually load the page. Then upon re-entry, maybe your password is in cookies and is recognized, therefore, you have entry to the page. That’s all I can think of as on my end, your app is still active.

The strange thing is, that in incognito mode and other browsers, where the cookie is not existant, I can also see the page.
Do you have any kind of caching enabled?
Did you check the PHP error log?

    Andreas,

I will get those answers to you soon. Thank you for your help.

For me, when incognito, I get a blank screen after entering a password. The page it seems to be stuck on when the blank screen shows up is:

    https://kryptauri.com/wp-login.php?action=postpass

When I return to the page in incognito, I enter the passwords and am returned to the screen where I am asked to enter the password and the box where I am supposed to enter the password is empty.

Okay I have disabled WP_Cache in the wp-config file and enabled error logging – it was disabled (I am not the developer – GoDaddy is). I don’t see any other caching mechanism at work

For what it is worth – after all that, it still doesn’t seem to work.

Do you see any error messages in the php error log?
You could also try to deactivate the plugin and test if the “normal” page passwords work.
If the issues remain, it is not related to the multiple post passwords plugin.
You could then deactivate all other plugins and even change the theme to see if there is a conflict with any of those.
