Just need text off pages

I’m afraid that is not possible. You will have to restore the entire backup to be able to extract those texts from pages that you need.

Yes, you could restore it on a temporary domain, and then copy the text from WP using ordinary copy/paste.

Should there be a database folder in the backup files? Because I am only seeing folders with pictures. How do I know if the database is included in the backup before I go through the process of trying to restore.

ok, can you send me where I can find instructions on how to use the files I have in dropbox from the old domain to restore the website to a temporary domain. I dont think the link you gave covers if the restoration files have a different domain name than where you are restoring to.
