    @puregraphx and @electro-z:

I need to know your W3C settings so i can try to replicate your problems with your parameters… I know its a lot of settings but if you can provide me what you selected in various options would be good.

    I think I got it:

In the “Minify” menu item on the left hand side:

    1. Find “Never minify the following JS files:” text area

    2. Add there Google map plugin JS:
https://YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME/wp-content/plugins/comprehensive-google-map-plugin/assets/js/cgmp.framework.min.js (Don’t worry about performance – it is ALREADY minified using Google’s Closure Compiler). Make sure that the link is valid(!) before adding it there. For example, the JS link for @puregraphx will be: https://www.cantuccini.be/wp-content/plugins/comprehensive-google-map-plugin/assets/js/cgmp.framework.min.js

    3. Clear all cache

Please report if there is a problem

Hi Alexander, you got it! ??
That must have been quite a search isolating the problem.
Great job and EXCELLENT support and follow up.

One minor annoyance still, the settings of the generated map are reset each time, so if I want to adjust one small setting, I have to set all settings every time and then send the map to the editor ??

That’s great to hear! I will add this to the FAQ section

    On the second note:
I just want to make sure I understand correctly – every time you want to tweak the shortcode, you find your self having to regenerate it from scratch and resend it to editor, right,

    1. What kind of settings do you normally tweak?
    2. Why can’t you tweak manually already the one that was sent to editor – are you afraid to mess it up?
    3. Slightly off topic – did you know that shortcode builder (menu item on the left) allows you to save shortcodes for repeating use?

    (@puregraphx)

I first had a map 350px in height, but it was too small, so I replaced 350 with 400px, added the map to the editor, updated the paga and saw that my 100% widht was once again 350px and that my marker had disappeared. So yes, I had to regenerate it from scratch. Also, when I want a different marker, i have to regenerate it from scratch.

    1. width, height, marker
    2. will give that a try!
    3. nope, will look into it

Yes… Once you sent the map to the editor, the values you have configured in the builder to not stay, but reset to the default values – this is the expected behaviour, if your post has 2 shortcodes, which values do you keep in builder?

In other words, if you want to tweak existing shortcode, do not regenerate it using builder as you need to re enter all values. Instead, you manually tweak the one which is within your editor

    I hope this helps
